The Mozhi Prize

The Mozhi Prize is now open for submissions, inviting literary translators to submit English translations of short stories (2,000–7,000 words) originally written in any Indian language. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your translation skills and bring powerful regional narratives to wider audiences. The top three winners will receive ₹50,000, ₹25,000, and ₹15,000 respectively. Translators must secure rights and submit their entries by 15 September 2025.
